Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets10.6 oz
  • Zucchini or asparagus7.1 oz
  • Butter1.1 oz
  • Lemon1 each
  • Salt & pepper1 tsp
  • Foil sheets2 sheets

For 2 people: 900 cal, 60 g protein, 1.4 lb dry.

Steps

  1. Lay salmon and veg on buttered foil. Season, add lemon slices.
  2. Seal packets tightly. Cook over medium coals 15–20 minutes.
  3. Open carefully — steam is hot.

On the trail

Camp — recovery. Protein and carbs at camp. Rebuild muscle and restock energy overnight.
